Studying in Germany where Education, Science & research play a central role with No or very less tuition fee will be an ideal choice to students who want to make their career.

Today German Universities are in the top league compared to the rest of the world and many students all over the world dream about studying in Germany. It is one of the most preferred countries by foreign students, a hub of cutting edge international research & constant source of new patents.

Germany is international competition of best brains. Anyone who wants to make a career in science had to have spent some time as student in German universities. In 20th century, about one third of all Nobel Prize winners were won by German scientists. Their innovation has changed the world.

Education System

Many German institutions of higher education can look back on a centuries-old tradition. The oldest university in Germany today was founded in Heidelberg in 1386. Anyone wanting to study in Germany is able to choose between 372 higher education institutions spread all over Germany, with no less than 117 universities, 159 “Fachhochschulen” (universities of applied science) and 56 colleges of music and fine arts. Germany’s universities combine age-old traditions with modern technologies.

Today some 1.9 million students were registered, of whom 246,000 came from abroad and thus making Germany the 3rd largest host country for foreign students in the world.
The important degrees awarded are Bachelor’s, Master’s, Diploma, Magister & Doctorate.

While the classic universities are dedicated to pure science & scholarship, the technical universities (TU) focus on Engineering and the natural sciences; the TUs have sterling reputation and are especially popular among foreign students. More than a quarter of all students in Germany attend university of applied sciences (FH) – these collaborate closely with corporations. Students are attracted to the FH by the fact that the track to a job is shorter and curriculum is more practical oriented.

Why No tuition fee?

Unlike many other countries private universities play a comparatively subordinate role: 97% of students attend public institutions that are subject to state supervision and control, provide academic education free of charge and are open to anyone who has certificates that authorizes them to enter university.
